Natural systems are inherently more complex than human controlled environments, in that everything from the change of the sun degree and intensity to the benefits of over wintering of the soil greatly impact the quality of cannabis. All small scale farming is difficult and market conditions are stacked against the businesses that don’t grow to larger scales. This is often where the best practices and generational knowledge and plant breeding comes from.  Within the cannabis industry these factors have been compounded by the federal and state legislation. Unfortunately most of the cannabis farmers here in California have left the industry.

It's been a real bummer that the federal and state governments act arbitrarily and capriciously in enforcing laws that in our opinion fail to meet a reasonable and coherent standard for any criminalization whatsoever of the cannabis plant.
